Safety Matters
Health Hazards:
· Polyacrylamide itself has very low toxicity. However, its monomer, acrylamide (AM), is a neurotoxin and suspected carcinogen and is highly toxic. Therefore, product safety primarily depends on the residual monomer content, which must be strictly controlled.
